Please allow me to clarify my quote. While we do need to maintain relationship, we also need to uphold standards. We can’t just say, “Oh, they’re just rats and can’t help themselves,” nor can we stigamize them as ultimate sinners. There is no “us” and “them” in this situation, only “we.”
